World Read Aloud Day!
Yesterday, I had fun reading for World Read Aloud Day to 6th graders in Richmond, Texas. I had forgotten how rambunctious 6th graders can be! I read a couple of sessions and did Q and A with them. They put a lot of thought into their interesting questions!
I am still healing and getting stronger, and I can finally sit at my computer this week and see what is happening in QuillSnap. Today, I started back at my 5:30 am writing routine for a couple of hours without my hot chocolate, as I have a stringent diet to follow for a couple of weeks. It feels good to get some routine in my life.
Two weeks ago, a press release went out to 600 cities in North America and the UK, so we will see what happens. I took some books to friends in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and their library. I also sent a book to the library in Nice, France, where we have some family who live part-time. FAQ is getting around!
